Chairman & CEO, Enerdas Group

Benin

Dr. Faustin Dahito is the Founder and Chairman of ENERDAS GROUP SA, a Beninese solar energy engineering company, and one of West Africa's most credentialed voices in renewable energy and energy sovereignty. He serves as VieVert's Local Strategic Advisor for Science, Renewable Energy & Environmental Policy.

His formation spans engineering, business, and industrial policy: a degree in Electrical Engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal, an MBA in International Management, and a DBA in Industrial Strategy from the International School of Management (Paris–New York). He is Honorary President of AISER-BENIN, the country's interprofessional association of renewable energy specialists, and of NEC-BENIN, Benin's National Electrotechnical Committee — and was awarded Docteur Honoris Causa at United Nations headquarters in New York for his visionary work.

Dr. Dahito is the author of Droit des peuples à l'énergie, devoir des nations, a landmark work introducing the 'pyramide des souverainetés' — a five-level framework for building energy, economic, technological, and geopolitical sovereignty in West Africa.

At VieVert, he provides scientific validation for the bamboo-to-biochar methodology, advises on Benin's energy and environmental policy landscape, and strengthens the company's technical credibility with domestic authorities and international partners. His standing gives VieVert a level of in-country scientific legitimacy that cannot be acquired — only earned.
