Crépin Houenou is VieVert's Agronomy Programs Lead, responsible for overseeing the cultivation strategy, field practices, and regenerative protocols that will define VieVert's bamboo production system in the Ouémé-Plateau region of Benin.

As an agricultural engineer with deep expertise in tropical cultivation systems, Crépin brings the scientific discipline and field knowledge that VieVert's regenerative bamboo program requires. He translates agronomic principles into practical cultivation protocols — designing the systems that will ensure VieVert's bamboo yields are consistent, traceable, and aligned with the company's environmental standards.

Crépin's work is foundational to VieVert's vertical integration strategy. The integrity of everything downstream — the biochar briquettes, the carbon credits, the clean cooking impact — depends on the quality and consistency of what happens at the cultivation level. He is the person responsible for getting that right.

Fluent in the agricultural realities of the Ouémé-Plateau, Crépin brings both scientific rigor and practical ingenuity to a cultivation challenge that no one in the region has tackled at VieVert's intended scale. His role is to make the impossible agronomically defensible — and then to make it repeatable.
