Rodrigue Castro Gbedomon, PhD
Strategic Advisor — R&D, Agronomic Science & Institutional Partnerships
Switzerland
Rodrigue Castro Gbedomon is an agronomic scientist and institutional strategist with more than fifteen years of experience in action research and strategic advisory to institutions across West Africa and Switzerland. His work is dedicated to strengthening the link between science and development — ensuring that relevant scientific knowledge is produced, made accessible, mobilized, and applied to guide and optimize public policy, intervention programs, and investment decisions. His areas of expertise span agronomy, environment, biodiversity conservation, and the economics of nature.
At VieVert, Rodrigue advises on the research and development architecture that forms the foundation of the company's bamboo cultivation program, bringing scientific credibility to VieVert's agronomic claims for investors and institutions. He also facilitates relationships with Beninese ministries, academic institutions, and Francophone donor networks that are strategic to the company's regional development. His contribution is designed to ensure that VieVert's scientific, institutional, and partnership foundations are credible, verifiable, and suited to large-scale deployment.
